Hello Diana, I`m Daniela and I`m Italian. I live classical dance since I was 12...now I`m 17 and I know that I`ve begun late, but I`m quite improved my dance during these not many years and so I continue to follow my difficult and amazing dream: to become a professional ballerina. becouse I`d like to dance and feel ballet in my soul for all my life...
I know, it`s very difficult to realise, but that`s my passion and it`s so hard to explain that a dancer feels when he dances (I believe you perfectly know all that:-)).
I`ve never had the possibility to saw your dancing but I`ve seen some videos and photos: simply amazing...(what`s your favourite ballet character?)
I`ve always asked to myself how ballerinas can dance with incredible certainty on the stage...You see, I`ve a problem: when I`m on the stage I don`t to be sure and I often sacrifice the work that I`ve done during the rehearsal...I don`t succeed risking when I`m on the stage... I`d like so much to find the way to improve myself also about this point of view...I think that`s very important also to be free to comunicate my feelings at the most....
Now I must go...Thank you for patience. I hope I`ve not bore you...(and if it`s so, excuse-me!)

Dear Diana, I have just come across a DVD of Giselle from Japan on the TDK label. The only pictures on the front and back are of Malakhov. He is not even in Albrecht`s costume. All the the writing is in Japanese, so I cannot make out any name other than Malakhov. Are the the Giselle in this performance?

DVD with "Giselle" it is issued in 2004 in Japan by companies Japan Performing Arts Foundation / SHINSHOKAN. You can buy this disk on a site of these companies.
It has a ballet picture with Diana and Volody and the text:

Thank. I think as well as now when I dance on the best stages before exacting, but sympathetic spectators. |
