Dear Ms. Vishneva, So sad you had to cancel your appearance in Manon last night(6/12)because of illness. First Mr. Malakhov had a trauma, now you, what is happening? I truly hope you are both feeling better. Although, certainly, I was disappointed not to see you dance; however,I felt unexpectedly lucky to see one of the farewell performances of the magnificent Alessandra Ferri, I hear she is retiring from stage. Her elusive gracefulness was breathtaking. Mr. Bolle, whom I saw for the first time, was also very impressive. May I respectfully ask whether you have cancelled your remaining appearances with ABT (Manon on 6/15, Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake) as well? Wish you get well soon. Appreciatively, Spyridon |

Diana, Just saw 2 video clips (ending & curtain call) of your last night`s Manon performance on youtube. Glad you were on stage again. It was my bad luck to have missed both of your Sleeping Beauty and Manon at MET. :^( But I saw Ferri & Bolle Monday night. They were amazing. You are coming to Los Angeles with La Scala Ballet next year, right? Do you like New York City? The night is too long? |
