YAGP in other words. I am twelve years old and it`s my first year competing at ALL! I got to NYC then went to the finals when only 30 or so girls ar choosen to compete with top twelve and all. I went to YAGP with my best friend Cynthia who is my age. For both of us YAGP was very fun but also a great time to show of a piece. I choose Cupid from Don Que as my dance and Cynthia choose the Blue Bird vereation from Sleeping Beauty. I was having a great time in NYC! Both Cynthia and I made it into the finals and everything! But when the award ceremony came I was sure about getting top twelve! I could feel it! But when they called top twelve my name was not their! I felt SO bad! Cynthia got top twelve and a foul scholarship to my dream school Royal Ballet year around! I did NOT! I was so sad that I yelled at her and told her I never wanted to speak to her again! Now I feel BEYOND bad! What should I do? I LOVE Cynthia! We are bff`s and I never want my stupid dumb jealousy to become inbetween out friendship! What should I do? I am ten years old and I THINK i want to be a ballerina! I mean I love it and all but part of me wants to do something other then ballet! Part of me LOVES ballet and the other thinks it`s alright! Haley mathiot: Miss Vishneva, i started ballet when i was 13 years old and got en pointe when i was 14 years old.i train with Galina Panova 2 satturdays every month, and this summer i will be going to Carolina Ballet`s Summer Intensive. Do i have any hope to become a Prima Ballerina? Do you have any advice? I was wondering whether you will ever come to Australia to dance? I long to see the Kirov Ballet live. Charlotte Diana:  While I do not plan to dance in Australia. But I sometimes come to the sister to Adelaide. Margo: Dear Diana, I want to say to you from bottom of my heart that you are an amazing charming ballerina. Your characters from the ballet come alive! Just wondering, what is your favorite role (ballet) to dance on the stage? Another question: When you are dancing Nikia, do you feel that you have become Nikia and feel her emotions? Or do you feel more of yourself acting to fit the role of Nikia? AND How does acting classes in the ballet school help you to interpret the roles?
